Every court decision he must wait for his phone to ring or a knock at the door to see if the Deep State approves of his decision. They may not care but he waits to see if he lives or not and probably they just want to keep him on his toes and afraid. Their investment paid off with the "no decision" and not he is valuable but disposable.
