Honestly i think right wingers are barking up the wrong tree on this one. Drugs shouldn't be illegal, nor should drug use make gun use illegal. You're basically falling into the same kind of trap that left wingers do when they try and defend the states monopoly of violence when you allow the state to dictate which drugs are medicine. Just look at what they're doing to kids, poisoning them with adhd/ depression/bipolar meds and now this tranny shit, these are the same people you are allowing to control how you think. If you want to root out degeneracy start with the "doctors", and psychiatrists prescribing this shit, and the companies making the poison. (The same ones are trying to sell you this covid nonsense)

I agree that individuals should not be required to sacrifice their right to self preservation if they decide to have a beer/smoke a joint. What this really highlights is: the laws on the books are already overreaching, and they are either being selectively enforced or not enforced at all. Creating additional unconstitutional laws will only impact the individuals willing to follow the rules without being forced, while putting criminals at an advantage. Same impact as ALL gun regulations.

I realized something being a non drug user but somehow end up around drug users. I think the law was made because of how dangerously extreme people under the influence can get. Its a small bunch but enough to make an impact. I realize the laws that are good laws are to stop people from putting others in danger and to have unfair advantages. I think the laws that are just technical laws so government entities can make a dirty buck are the ones we need to be proudly breaking. In basic terms.

The problem is not so much the law. There is a process for changing laws. The problem is capricious enforcement of the law, with the effect that the law for you is not the same as the law for Joe Insider.

The problem is the law. The keep adding bloated retarded laws. (like the 10,000 page "stimulus" bills) Our government is like a old bloated operating system where nothing works because its loaded down with bloatware. All these questions on that application are infringements on the natural right to bear arms. It makes hunter look like an asshole, sure. But it is hypocritical to be supportive of these measures in this context, even if hunter is a crackhead panty waste POS.
