Life has improved in ways since the election because now I know what is real and what is not, who are the frauds and who is the enemy. Local politics is not enough because the big changes come from Washington.

My time is no longer spent on entertainment, sports, movies, music is no longer important because they contributed to the party. The realization that it's the elites against the people is clear now and I have become a healthy skeptic with facts to prove it. The Deep State and MSM are very predictable and we see it her on TDW but so many are still in the darkness. My only hope is that when the Trump hate starts to wear off they will see what they have given up in the process.

All we can do is continue to fight, support one another even when we lapse into the Legion of Doom, and keep supporting one another in the fight. It is going to be a long war, with many battles and losses, but in the end, good beats evil. Keep supporting the Jovan Pulitizers' and Sidney Powells' because they are fighters and keep the faith.

My piece of wisdom to offer if you even care to hear is always be willing to change perspective and understand that with time positions that once were once held might stop making sense. Being engaged with what is going on in the world is important, but locking yourself in on one set of standards can be a issue. I’ve been voting since 2004 and not a week has gone by I haven’t tuned into the local AM or caught national commentary on something. Every issue is an opportunity for me to grow, whether to shore up my feelings on a position or to wear the shoe on the other foot and gain better insight. Times wouldn’t be so turbulent if more people approached it this way.

2002 Vette --- I agree and plan on being engaged but sometimes I feel "ignorance is bliss" because it is so damn frustrating to deal with the blind. I won't go that way and I feel it is my patriotic duty to stay engaged. I agree with not getting locked in and I am flexible to ideas growing and changing. I feel like I've come a long way in understanding some of the gay issues and I am okay with it. But the trans stuff and the woke culture I really don't understand but with the gay issues I just tried to walk in their shoes and say everyone needs love and I understood where they were coming from. But to not accept others religious views on issues like trans and equity is just wrong.

When I see the democrat party embrace wokeism all I see is oligarchs nodding and smiling with a contingent of people and using those movements as tools to collect support where they can. It’s the same in the corporate world, and what is interesting, you can see the reactionary response in places like this so clearly. Like when a tweet from Oreo’s PR department said something as non starter as “trans people exist”. Oreo isn’t a person with an opinion. It’s a corporation of a lot of people trying to sell cookies for profit. People on the left are charmed and following the pied piper and people on the right are outraged and in that mess there’s no real political discourse. Elected officials and candidates do the same thing on both sides. Staying grounded in the core of what you believe and why can help see through the smoke screens and misdirection.
