You can either print out the pass or show a QR code on your phone that will just give them a green checkmark or red x when they scan it.
You can literally get a screenshot of anyone's actual pass and open that up in your photos to show the QR code to scan.
The other option is to print out I am sure a piece of paper that will have a QR code and nothing personally identifiable on it and let them scan that.

I knew it would be easy to defeat like this. You can't have some huge involved process when you are trying to screen people for a sporting event or whatever. There is just no time for it.
So again if you are worried about being forced to get the vaccine so that you can do stuff like a normal person. DO NOT WORRY.

In all seriousness, having lived most of my life in NYC, I feel truly sorry for the people stuck there. My advise to them is -- move! Even if it means uprooting and having to settle for a worse job, get out. Manhattan is pretty much a hellscape already as the entire City soon will be. NYC has some really bad times ahead.
