I lived in an immigrant neighborhood for awhile. The parents were mostly hard working family folks who didn't think they were entitled to anything, but the kids were aggressively brainwashed with leftist shit in the schools, and the parents didn't know better. IMHO, it was to the point that they were borderline criminal, openly threatening and trying to harm immigrant kids.
One little Mexican girl came home with 100% on her math tests all the time, but when you looked at her answers, they were 90% wrong. We're talking simple addition here, but she talked like world class expert on MLK. One time that little girl came home crying, they threatened to deport her mom if she didn't do well on the standardized tests the teachers are rated by. Another boy was falsely diagnosed as "special needs", so they could send him to a school where they get paid twice as much per student. But that also required him to be doped up on a bunch of meds that he didn't need too, they nearly destroyed him.
