Isn't Myanmar the country that saved itself from a false fucking election? Like fuck you bro. I wish the government the best of luck against their brainwashed citizens.

It is the citizens rights to abolish any form if government it disapproves of. But I agree with you on the state of reality.

pretty sure whoever was "elected" was gonna sell the country out to China hence why the military stepped in to try to save their sovereignty

It was because she was killing ethnic minorities that the military protected before.

Why the fuck do all you people blame everything on China? I bet Myanmar government is asking China to back them now and for help after all of this

They seem to be building a rationale for u.s. involvement.

The proof is CNN whining about the peaceful protestors. I have no idea if the election was rigged but the old president was part of globohomo.

I think the jury's still out on whether the military coup is benign or not.

The fact that Biden's puppet masters are denouncing it is telling, but we also know the Myanmar military has past relations with China.

There's a lot of different narratives still in play there.

CNN with the “peaceful protests” BS again. Why would anybody believe anything they put out.

BS2020 12 points ago +12 / -0

I don't take a single thing CNN says as any kind of truthful statement, or "journalism" without their own self interest at heart

It's not so much that they lie, they do lie for sure, but most of the time they take the facts and wrap it up in a narrative using framing techniques. That way they can say they presented the facts without acknowledging they presenting an opinion as fact. Like how they just said teenage girls attempted carjacking leads to an accident that fatally injured an Uber Eats driver. While technically true, it completely changes the story from being yet another case of black on Asian crime to a "mostly peaceful" carjacking attempt where someone was accidentally killed, and they don't mention the race, which they absolutely would do if those girls were white. if they were the kids of wealthy white people they would be losing their fucking minds right now and they'd be out in the streets looting and lighting shit on fire. It would be a "textbook case of white privilege and white supremacy" and the Blue checks would be so goddamn fucking insufferable about it.

I'm jealous.

I want a military junta that disposes of commies like this.

Adapt and overcome. Or have gunz

pepesbiceps 3 points ago +3 / -0

Myanmar is my go to example in recent history whenever some libtard proposes gun control. Just a one liner does it: so you want us to become like Myanmar? That'll shut up 90% of them, some will come back with, see but ____ country has gun control and they're not Myanmar. Simple comeback: not yet.

WeaponizedSmirk 2 points ago +2 / -0

Venezuela is a good one. So is Mexico, they have uber strict gun laws and as a result, the cartels can prey on the people because they know they're not armed.

3
pursuitoftruth1776 3 points ago +3 / -0

The people killed were the communists, they are not protesters.

3
VilanceD 3 points ago +3 / -0

Seriously you trust Communist News Network? We have receipts showing collusion in Myanmar where their press is whipping up violence, and the military is arresting them too. Until things calm down there we won't have trustworthy intel.

"Peaceful protests"

  • violent commies probably
1
BidensWetNurse 1 point ago +1 / -0

These "protesters" are the equivalent of Biden supporters if the US military had taken over after the US election to stop the steal. Fuck them.

Donarudo_Taranpu 1 point ago +1 / -0

The trick to reading a CNN headline is to believe the opposite of what they tell you.

So in this case we know there are violent protests because CNN called them peaceful. Now, the number 114 - assume that's a lie and the number is much smaller or that some of the dead were killed not by the Myanmar military but by friendly fire or trampling or something.

Lastly, assume that the people being "cracked down" on are not "peaceful protestors" but violent leftists/marxists/globalists like Antifa or BLM.

If you're doing it right, when you read OP's post it actually says "Myanmar military clashes with violent Communist protesters; 114 casualties reported"
