Executions are about justice. People need to justice and it’s consequences.

This is why I think the victims or close friends/family of victims of extreme crimes should have a direct influence as to what kind of punishment the criminals receive. True justice.

I understand - that's how it's been done in the Middle East for thousands of years.

But, having the government do it leaves the victims' families with a clear conscience and an sense they are being cared for.
