All my personalized belongings were gone, special pencils, grips, sharpeners, erasers, storage boxes, notebooks and basically everything I owned that I had purchased with the few cents that I received from my weekly chore allowance. Even my desk was a different color but the teacher denied knowing anything. A new Mexican immigrant kid was introduced to the class that day as well and I was suspicious that his new desk looked like my old one. Finally I saw him using my supplies and even a unique pencilbox with my name on it. When I reported it to the teacher I was silenced for "lying", "mouthing off to the teacher" and disciplinary action was filed. I was 6 years old when the establishment showed me that they are not scared of breaking the law in the name of socialism.

Make no mistake, they will come for you and your belongings. For your bodily autonomy and freedoms. They will redistribute what you have without a second thought and you will be punished for the thought crime of disagreement.

Where were your parents?

If the school did something like that to my kid, I'd sue for discrimination.

I merely threatened to make a discrimination complaint to the state once when they tried to give detentions for bullshit and it worked.

If your parents let that slide then it's their fault, not yours. Learn that lesson and fight for your kids.

My parents did this and sure they returned my stuff. But that's the difference between conservatives vs. liberals. They'll just continue doing it and when you call them out on it it becomes "oops it was a mistake" and thus no recourse in a court. Just because it was corrected doesn't mean they're going to "learn their lesson and stop".
