Pretty sure my biggest problem with humanity in general is we seem to the collective memory of a gold fish. I'm an infection control nurse, and I'd been told for years and years that masks didn't really work and were kind of pointless (outside of specific situations, like the OR), and stupid. Then one day covid hit, and we still remembered that masks are stupid and pointless. Then one day we forgot.
