I've seen some very cringe worthy scenes in media recently of black people fighting Nazis, from WWII. One that really stands out is in Westworld where a black woman is stuck in something like the Matrix and is fighting WWII Nazis.
This really boggles my mind because black people had very little to do with WWII.
I've come to realise that when you talk to a leftist you really have to take into account that they have near zero education. Though they talk about WWII a lot they hardly actually learnt anything about it at school.
It's important to be prepared for this and you have to be ready to talk to the left like children, in a way you wouldn't normally think to talk to people and you have to assume that they don't know things you would expect people to normally know.
Whenever a leftist brings up the war and tells you things like did you know Hitler killed six million Jews you have to be ready to fill in for huge gaps in their knowledge. They don't know that anyone else was killed in WWII. They think it was only Jews sometimes.
Hitler's war killed at least 60 million white people. Roughly 80% to 95% of all casualties. The Jews that were killed were also predominantly white Jews. A large proportion of those who died that were not white were more likely to be closer to it.
It was predominantly a Northern Hemisphere war spanning the belt in which white people reside from Europe through Russia to North America back to Europe. It was called a World War in great part due to the inclusion of countries with world wide empires. While that had some involvement it was relatively small and not the primary field of battle. The exception being the European war merging with the Oriental war (Japan's conquest of China).
If you think your school will teach children about WWII think again. They will teach them a very selective history consisting of largely irrelevant minutiae or falsehoods. They will say that the victims were all minorities or that it was white people against minorities or that it was white people against the world. It was a war primarily of white people against white people and white people were the biggest suffers.
You have to be prepared to teach it to you children. In fact you cannot trust schools. You must home school your children even if you send them to school.
The same way people feel about the Jews now because of the Holocaust so don't treat them equally and let them get away with more or dismiss complaints injuring them by not holding them to normal standards is also the way people treated Germany sympathising with its loss of WWI.
People here saying look at what Jews are doing its so bad but the reason they're doing it and we're not is because we let them get away with it but not us. This is called setting people up for failure. I have learnt it the hard way sometimes.
I once had a guy who was a liability and I kept fixing his mistakes. I realised I was hiding them covering for him but too late. If I'd let his first mistake play out and the worst happen that would have been the end of it but instead I prolonged things and only made it worse until it exceeded my capacity to cover for it.
We didn't go to war with Germany because they were picking on minorities. However they didn't cross the line conclusively until they crossed other lines as well. It escalated quickly. If you're going to cross on line into Poland and they're going to do the worst possible thing to you might as well cross them all.
From what I've seen when we went to war with them is the point they went full on, on every front (in a manner of speaking). Hitler didn't start by killing Jews in any meaningful way (certainly not wholesale). There was ethnic cleansing and fleeing but not any great deal of killing. The vast majority died after the declaration of war.
Some people do ask the question if we didn't go to war what would have happened? There's a strong implication that Hitler went full out on the Jews out of spite for now showing appeasement. Personally though I do not believe in bowing to terrorism even if it means they'll kill all the hostages. They'll only do it again and again.
On behalf of Great Britain and its allies we offer a formal apology to the hostages. Sadly, it had to be done.
