”Does anybody in this restaurant think it’s a good idea to take the COVID vaccine?”

This isn’t journalism it is a loaded question the sole intent of which is to create propaganda about how conservatives are ignorant rubes. Actual journalism would be presenting the public with both sides and letting each individual decide for themselves.

Yep. I’ve talked to plenty of liberals about this. The first thing I tell them is “the shot isn’t a vaccine. I’d take it in a heartbeat if it was.” Then, I say “once they have what I believe to be a statistically significant long term study of this and it is proven safe over a prolonged period, I’ll probably take it.”

I also usually throw in “it’s not that I think the government is evil, it’s just that our understanding of the immune system is in its infancy and pharmaceutical companies and the government don’t have the greatest track record of competence.”
