There is a reason violent crime rates coincide with our incarceration rates. Yea we lock up a lot of people but mainly because those people are criminals

Nah, go to your local jail and find the violent criminals in a complete different pod. The petty drug crimes are overflowing their pods along with those who have bench warrants for failure to pay. We have statistics and the antidotal evidence constantly cropping up.

How many of the violent Antifa members are in jail? How many of those people on January 6th are still setting in jail for the crime of picking up trash while trespassing or setting in Dear Leader Pelosi's chair/throne?

How many Death Row inmates have been exonerated by DNA evidence? Then look up unsolved murders... You're trying to apply simple answers to complex questions.
