If China took Taiwan, it wouldn’t provoke any more of a response than Russia taking Crimea did under Obama imo.
The Deep State and MIC are in no personal danger when their military goes to war with some third world shithole, which is why they don’t think twice about it, and why NK will happily starve its population if it means being able to attain the safety granted by nuclear weapons. Standing up to another nation with nuclear weapons is a whole different thing, because it puts the Deep State and MIC themselves at risk.
I don’t think they have any intention of invading the US though. Why bother when its government is for sale to the highest bidder?
