Which artists are “essential?” This will be a fun way to pit them against one another. I get what they’re saying though, because entertainment tends to be nonessential at times like this, so entertainers got hit pretty hard. However, dividing them based in who’s “essential” and who isn’t is just asking for trouble. Especially when there’s money involved.
As someone living in a red state I'm pretty livid that I am having to pay for this bullshit. Without the stimulus tax on us red states these blue clowns wouldnt be able to waste money on a useless art degree for an entire city.

I visited a building in Minneapolis that serves as studios for various artists there. Not a single one of the tenants understand anything about rent, maintenance, heating/cooling, or engineering in general.
Artists are useless people if they're not given direction and purpose.
My cousin works in San Francisco. Its city Government has the highest turnover of new laws in the entire country. A few years ago they spent $500k on "emergency phones" to report crimes. This was 2011 - cellphones were already everywhere. The homeless made the phones useless because they'd call for blankets & shit
