Had a discussion with a few co-workers the other. A couple of them were getting their shots and recommended others do the same.
My dad went in for his shots and recommended the same. I kinda ignore the topic when it comes up or say I'm in no hurry but he will bring it up several times on a phone call or visit. He was bashing younger people for not getting it and said something like "if this were killing younger people, everyone would be lining up for the vaccine". How do you all respond when pressured by others? I am not an anti vaxxer and think most people who take it will be fine, but like the flu shot, I don't really feel bothered to take it even if the risk of side effects is small.

This info is good for us, but people like OP's dad won't listen to facts. This is not the proper response.
Nah he went ahead and got it without really saying anything to me first. But he's a grown man and can make his own decisions without consulting me.
