This is a trap and Ted Cruz is likely controlled opposition.
The left don't care about it now, but they will once Biden starts acknowledging it. By and large they will pretend it doesn't exist until their "thought leaders" for lack of a better term inform them of which narrative to support in response. First they will use you to amplify the outrage, since you are the ones who won't just go along with whatever they say, and the left will go along with whatever they say whenever they say it. Once you have amplified the outrage and made it known how horrible the conditions on the border are, then they will acknowledge it themselves.
And once they do, they will use it as justification to change the laws and grant amnesty, citizenship, etc. to illegal aliens. The only thing I don't know is how they will go about doing this. I think it will be one of two ways:
They use this situation to "put pressure" on "republicans" in congress to accept their changes. The reason those are in quotes is because they aren't actually republicans. They are fake republicans, and they just need an excuse to do the left's bidding without garnering the ire of people on the right. Since they've already got you to admit there is a huge crisis, you won't be able to blame them for "doing something about it". And you will blame the left for the type of solution chosen, and not them.
They institute their amnesty and whatever they want to do through executive order.
I think it will be the former, because it's much harder to change than executive order. Certainly I think they will be aiming to do things through means other than executive order, whether they accomplish that or not.
Now if my prophecy comes true. Please make note of it, and realize that Ted Cruz was a willing accomplice, manipulating you in to amplifying the outrage, and not just a fool who played in to their hands. In other words, stop applying Handlon's razor.
