Trump said January 6th would be wild and you all showed up with flags and asked how could avoid D.C. mask mandates.

I think that was such a self goal by Trump, how could he have not predicted the day is going to turn out the way it did, specially when he had nothing new to say. He has never been a smart politician just a gutsy one but this was so bad. He gave left and never Trumpers exactly what they have been waiting for. For a guy who is known for branding, he just didn't see it coming which was such an obvious thing.

But it wasn't obvious. Hell we have documentation from Pence "our voices will be heard." And he exactly stabbed Trump in the back when he was speaking to the crowd.

We've for hindsight but nobody at the time believed the Pence and the Military were as complicit as it turned out.

Completely wrong. Every third post on this site (when it was a lot bigger than it is now) was boogaloo before the 6th.

I’m opened minded as to what happens but if they don’t have a plan the 6th was a giant, predictable failure.

That it wasn’t a lot worse is testament to the fact that most real pedes are actually smart good people.

I remember warning people here that if Trump hadn't actually planned anything other than a fucking speech on Jan 6th, everyone going there was going to be in trouble, including Trump.

I was hoping to be wrong.
