It's because the Evangelicals, the Lutherans, the Baptists, and the Catholics have all turned into pussies. Go look at a Christianity sub anywhere. Strong leadership is abhorred. They all want to be meek and humble before man, not God.
There's a fictional TV show out there called the New Pope where it deals with how things would happen if a traditional old school Christian became the Pope. I don't think you would need to watch the whole show. There are clips on youtube. The new Pope comes in and does care about consensus or the friendship of others. Which is his way of saying he doesn't care about the opinion of man, he's only concerned about God's opinion.
It's very frustrating to see modern "Christians" that are so afraid of offending others. They want to be so inclusive to everyone that they will abandon God just in order to let perverts into the church just to fill the offering basket.
I feel that Christianity should be offensive to those trapped in sin. Following God is an exact contradiction to the ways of the world follower and should be seen that way.
That’s not to say Christianity shouldn’t accept outsiders in. Their acceptance into the church should hinge on renouncing their previous beliefs and practices and acceptance of God.

Agreed. My church is even considering accepting LGBTQAIIPOZDGDKSs into the congregation and leadership.

I have no problem with them being in the congregation, but only if they repent.
Rebuke sin.
Agreed.
