A black dude who was out of jail pending trial for some pretty serious charges tried to steal the phone of a white guy on the metro. The white guy resisted and the black dude stabbed him about 50 times. The train car had over a dozen people in it and nobody even tried to help the dude.
The prevailing narrative following the accident was that the victim should have just given up his phone.
I can only imagine the shitstorm that would have followed if a good Samaritan ended that piece of shit when he pulled his knife on the victim.
