This is what kills me about this site. There's a number of VERY vocal accounts who do nothing but post racist trash, and I think it's causing a number of us to buy into it. Yes, black culture has problems--but it's culture. It's got nothing to do with skin color. Yes, a significant number of Jews--particularly secular Jews--have a communist bent. It's not Judaism the religion, or some genetic trait that causes it. It's a culture problem.
We still need to strive to see individuals as individuals, and not alienate people on our own side, or chase them away by blaming the very ills they would fight against on them because of affiliations they can't control. Americans are Americans--no matter their religion or skin color.
I say exactly this so, so often. What we call today "Black Culture" is a very, very recent creation. Immediately after the Civil War, "Black Culture" was an absolute race to the top. These people who had for so long been denied the best that America has to offer, Schooling, Paying Work, Land Ownership, all the good things that make the nation stronger, they CHARGED into these things. Former Slaves became Lawyers, Senators, and Representatives in half a decade. Black Culture could be summed up entirely in the phrase "Thank Christ that I am Free to Prosper by the strength of my Body and my Mind."
And then, something like a single generation ago, or less, Democrats succeeded in turning that around and making them buy into the Victim Mentality, and turned their families into smoking ruins, turn their children into criminals, and turn their neighborhoods into goddamn Fallujah.
YES, there has always been a difference between White Churches and Black Churches, there has always been a difference between the White Barber Shop and the Black Barber Shop, there has always been a difference between the Black Cookout and the White Cookout. So fucking WHAT, it used to be that both could be wonderful places where good things happened. Black Culture used to be different, but still completely compatible with "white culture," (Indicentally, I've got Italian Culture, Irish Culture, and Scottish Culture in my family. They're all different from each other. None of them think of themselves as white.)
