Not anymore. Fuck ‘em. Police proved during the riots they will let criminals go free, and they proved through the virus lockdowns they will arrest non-violent law-abiding citizens for not wearing a worthless mask, and they proved they will kneel to black thugs and criminals to appease them.
Way back in 2016 we had dozens of videos of the police funneling Trump supports unarmed into crowds of ANTIFA and then standing back. It just ramped up over the last 5 years.
People forgot that the cops have never been on our side. They do as they are told and collect their paycheck. When they are told to come for the guns or to round up patriots they will put on their armor and come for you.
Every department is different. The cities where the mayor runs the dept are usually trash. My town in NY is good, and I trust them.
I know some personally, and they are hardcore 2a advocates.
Hell, someone broke into one of my properties a year ago... My "friend" who was there pulled a firearm to point at them as they ran out of the house.
We told the cops what happened, and that we are carrying, and that we pulled it on them.
The cops saw his firearm in a concealed location, and said "good. Good to carry. You did the right thing".
They didn't question or treat us as the criminals. They treated us how we shoild be treated. As victims who were ready to defend ourselves had the crackheads ran toward us, rather than away.
