Of all the things we feared, this one was my biggest. Trump’s greatest act as president was pulling the shackles off the markets and letting it run much freer than before. A recession is inevitable from the pandemic, but ramping up regulations is going to prolong it. If they reconcile tax increases next year we are looking at another spectacular Obama economy.
