Tribes, crews, mags (mutual assistance groups), call it whatever. Get some, form them. The smartest people I know were part of them before I knew it was a thing.
It's not enough to just join a group you meetup with twice a month. You need to essentially make them family. You do everything for the clan and the clan works together. A society within a society. You live in the same areas, work in the same areas, you all hangout and do everything mostly together and anything who insults one of your clan insults you all, etc... Clan up.
