Today we celebrate the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem as Lord. He rode a young donkey as a symbol of peace, rather than a horse. The people lay down their cloaks and palm fronds in respect and reverence. Jesus knew what was to come, and he did it anyway. God, thank you for sending your one and only Son. Let's celebrate the gift.
