I agree that we have to get away from Bankers fiat money....but jumping into digitally produced fiat crypto currencies is equally ridiculous.
I keep coming back to physical precious metals as a standard....but their difficulty in ease of payment and physical transfer is a negative.
I fear that brass and lead may be soon worth much more in a SHTF situation.
This is one of the reasons alternative currencies was created in the first place. Today's world need both digital and physical alternatives, and preferably something that isn't controlled by big banks or any government.
Something interesting is the fact that more and more gold and precious metals dealers accept cryptocurrency payments, it's more secure for them and it's more secure for you. Store front's that are already secured from robberies seems like a perfect place for exchanges between physical and digital currency/stores of value.
