Yea guys, sorry but the virus is real. What it does to people is real. Not everyone. But it’s real and can have bad consequences. The politicization of it is bullshit.
No one is saying the virus isn't real, but promoting it as anything more than what it is: a virus that causes a case of the flu and all the other associated risks.
Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults
Differences:
Flu
Flu viruses can cause mild to severe illness, including common signs and symptoms listed above.
COVID-19
COVID-19 seems to cause more serious illnesses in some people. Other signs and symptoms of COVID-19, different from flu, may include change in or loss of taste or smell.
If there's any difference it might be in occurrence rates and severity - if you trust all the statistics.
Cold/flu kills many because they end up contracting an opportunistic case of pneumonia of which there are different types. This has always been a risk factor.

Umm it doesn’t cause the flu. It causes severe respiratory distress
The flu can as well.

The symptoms vary person to person. Covid isn’t severe pneumonia per-se. I don’t see what your point is.
