Back in the early 2000's when I worked in the big shitty, I knew a lot of leftist progs. They were ardent Booosch haters, I used to goad them on, we weren't as PC back then. They would froth at stuff I said, an early form of a REEEEEEEEEEE. However, we all got along and worked together, nobody feared cancellation. However, get one of these goofs out of the office, one-on-one over lunch or walk and they would always show their true colors. Those people were the most racist, hateful people I ever encountered and I grew up in a lilly white suburb.
