Well I do. He wasn't sick Friday, but then goes out to get tested Friday evening, and surprise I get screwed for the next 10 days, and then he's going to have his kid, so tap on an extra few weeks.. My boss came to me and said I needed to get tested. I said its going to cost 160.00 for the test, and I want a paid 10 day vacation regardless of the result. He says never mind, just socially distance. This is so stupid.

I'm gonna be real if you're not fully taking advantage of this as well you're kinda the sucker. I've personally taken almost 6 months of paid "covid time" from one job and used that time to work double at a 2nd job. 2x as much $$ for half the work. Paid off my car, all my bills, and now I'm just stacking cash and preps. Don't be a sucker get that free money...
Yeah, the only way this stops is if everyone abuses it to the point where they can't allow the scam anymore.
Abuse it if you can boys, it's the best thing to do right now (unless you actually really like your work, then that's a different story).
I got coworkers printing out fake positive covod tests for months now. Every time you or someone you know gets covid...boom two week paid vacation.
Well I work for a small privately owned business. It's one of those jobs where 4 people take the day off and you're working a skeleton crew. I mean, if you don't care about screwing over your coworkers they can, and will screw you back.
I work in a fortune 500 company and they just switch us out as needed. I rarely work with the same co-workers more than once every week or two.
I'm not here to tell anyone how to provide, it's obviously situational and I wasn't very specific.
