Never should have settled. That drug addicted felon's family should have to pay the CITY.

The Fentanyl killed GF, not an authorized and safe restraint.

...Or maybe it was the Corona...

Floyd was a drug addled loser, but Chauvin's acquittal shouldn't rely on Fentanyl.

He was doing his job as trained.

That settlement coming at the time of the trial could be justification for a mistrial, it sends a message that someone was at fault.

Corrupt idiots, they want a riot.

I hope the rioters burn Minneapolis to the ground. The city giving these afrikans $27 million of tax payers money. All will be spent on dope. Minneapolis is a shit hole full of commie democrats so let it burn.

IMO The fact that they did not want their day in court but settled for money is proof they knew the officer wasn’t the cause of Floyd’s death...

The "hold" did not kill the man, China and the opioid epidemic killed Floyd!

In my 30 years of working in a medium security prison, I've restrained many violent cons. But never like that! Why this officer felt a need to further restrain this individual is beyond me. IMO, there was no need for the knee, he was already restrained.

I love cops, my son's a cop.

I agree, especially continuing to kneel after going unconscious and dying for 3 minutes afterward
