Yeah, all the leftists pushing it make me hesitant as hell (but hell, even right wingers are pushing it, the politicos anyway).
I've personally got cancer (in remission yay), but I still don't want to take the vaccine even if the virus could fuck me up. It's a pretty bad comorbidity but I also had a fairly mild cancer, for cancer anyway (testicular). Even with all of this, it's still sketchy to me even though I probably should trust it. You know you've got a vaccine that people don't trust when a fucking cancer "survivor" doesn't want to take it.
Congratulations. Both me and hubby are cancer survivors, but we had the type of cancer where they just steal your organs and hormones.
I am not getting the shot because the government is involved, and I remember the swine flu shots from 1975 and people keeling over dead. I dont get the flu shot either...and have NEVER had the flu.
If the government and media and politicians didnt lie to us all the time, I might feel different. But this is too much like Hitler directing us to the gas chambers
Always hard to feel like a cancer survivor when all I've had to do is have surgery to have a ball ripped out and no chemo (luckily, here's to hoping my next scans go well!), but I guess I technically count.
