I agree it's cruel and understand where you are coming from but the animals are going to be culled anyways. Trapping is not going away. This allows some of their parts to be utilized after their death. We as the stronger and smarter species have every right to do what we please with their habitat. That is what we call survival of the fittest. Whether we should is another story, but keep in mind, Montana spends more money on conservation than most states. People who actually hunt and enjoy the outdoors are usually keen to protect it.
