This is the thing I feel people need to be focusing on. That should have been fought against for decades, but here we are. The Supreme Court's explanation for their ruling on that case opened the door a crack for the slippery slope to be able to get a foothold and we're going to get dropped off the cliff here soon.

"Public safety" mattering more than individual rights is so anti-American that it's hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that happened over a hundred years ago and not this year during lockdown.

That case NEEDS to be overturned, but we don't have the justices currently with the necessary balls to do it.

The problem with your assertion is that SCOTUS balances muh rights against muh responsibilities as a member of society. Guess who wins every single time there's a conflict?
