Sadly, those who virtue signal the most stridently on behalf of yoots & thots are always the ones who've had the least experience with them. We've been subject to withering criticism from the oh-so-enlightened rest of the world for decades for our "backwardness" in race relations.

This is the state of race relations in the US: immigrate here...and get slaughtered by our savages. This is why Americans seem callous and indifferent to the fate of blacks in this country: we've been dealing with this shit for centuries. This is why everyone is taking video of this spectacle rather than getting involved.
