So who's position is it to argue said policy? Four hours of phone juggles later: my jobs HR, Hartford, OSHA... not a single person knows who to talk to regarding this policy. Honk fucking Honk.

Saddest part is, OSHA bro agreed with everything I had to say. He was surprised I knew wtf a micron is, and how big a virus is vs what microns a RESPIRATOR protects you from. Unfortunately he's Federal OSHA, this isn't a federal job so I have to go through State OSHA and site their codes.

Best option out now is going through my doc to fill out my newly acquired forms for an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) exemption. I might have a shot with an existing condition, I'll try to list "Suffers from freedom" as my last underlying issue too.
