Growing up our pool was always full of those things! We had fish ponds too, but noooo they wanted to be in the pool. We had to fish them out every morning. It was my brother's job to "go get those damn frogs out of the pool!".
We would put them in a box and carry them to the park creek 3 blocks away and set them free. My dad swore they would find their way back over night!
Best of luck!!! They will lay eggs on anything in the pool, sweeper, hoses etc. Beware! You have one hell of a time fishing those things out!
