Does anyone else find his death suspicious, occurring when it did in August 2019, just before this virus was released? If he had been alive I’m sure he would have forcefully said, no, PCR is not a test to diagnose anything

Nah, they'd tell him to shut up, label everything he says as misleading, and call him a science denier.

The left is trying to establish a postmodern, post-truth world and they're on their way.

Sometimes, there really are coincidences.

Much easier to just torture a family member and force them to come out in support of you thing. Builds a better narrative than trying to shut them down.

Here is a way to sanitize links to Twitter:

The reason you should not do it is because the embedded tweet loads tracker elements into the browser of anyone who opens it. Very similar to what happens with Facebook Like Buttons. This means that they then have insight into who specifically is viewing the post even if it’s the embedded version (because the video loads from their servers).

Screenshots are another way to avoid this for text and image posts on Twitter and other social media. You can also download the video from the tweet using this:

Then you can repost to any of these locations with a link in the description back to the source tweet (this does not leak info to Twitter and gives people the choice to visit the source):

He was also a hardcore global warming skeptic and the left already canceled him for that. Biology is separated into two eras: pre and post Dr Mullis so he should be a literal god in that field yet there is not one building nor scholarship named after him. In college we were given one sentence about his unmatched contribution to the sciences, followed by 5 minutes of negatives about climate change-denying and astrology-following nonsense.

I was doing some research on this last night. Apparently the covid test is an rt-pcr test that is specific to some gene sequences in the covid virus. It does not however differenciate between active infections and dormant virus present in someone's respitory system. Hence the high rate of false positives.

I can also imagine that covid shares some gene sequences with other endemic corona viruses, which will also contribute to false positives.

So pretty much even tho the rt-pcr test is designed to specifically seek out covid, it still presents an issue with false positives.

they have not isolated the SarsCov2 virus so there is no way a PCR test can ever give you an accurate result for Sars Cov2. there is no unadulterated samples of the virus. other genetic material has been added .

Correct. This is why I speculated that it's still probably picking up any corona virus not just sars cov2

Sorry that's fake news. It was about AIDS.

Quidnunc 5 points ago +5 / -0

Fauci used people as guinea pigs while he was trying to "cure" AIDS back in the day, too.

The same points he makes are relevant to today: Fauci doesn't understand microscopy, has a huge ego and is just an administrator not any kind of scientist. More interested than pushing narrative than in actual virology.

The same points, except the point about COVID. Absolutely not related to COVID. I am a scientist so I like the truth.

bigchubby 2 points ago +3 / -1

so what is different about what he said then? Either the PCR test is for infectious disease or its not

0
melaniahusband 0 points ago +1 / -1

It was about the HIV. He said the PCR can't work on HIV. I mean, do you know how to read? So read the article first.

I know what he’s talking about. It doesn’t change that the PCR test isn’t for testing for infectious disease. Why would the test now be ok for corona?

melaniahusband 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why not? What is your logic? Something meant for only one thing can only be used for this thing?? Really?? Are you serious or just dumb? Do you really want me to enumerate you all the things used for something else than primary purpose?? Astonishing that we have the dumbest of the dumbest here....

bigchubby 0 points ago +1 / -1

It sounds like you think that the PCR test is an accurate test for a virus that has Nevber been isolated. fucking dumb prick.

melaniahusband 0 points ago +1 / -1

So, no, you don't have any fucking clue what you are talking about. Don't even try to discuss science with me, just read some books and write papers first.

So would you say the PCR test is suitable to isolate and identify the Sars Cov2 Virus?
