Why not pay our employees partially in per diem? It’s tax free for them in some cases can be nearly double the salary itself and goes right into their pockets. Fags drone on about unions and employee owned business blah blah. Your social security is fucked if you’re under 50, retirement accounts are about to be double dip tax raped. It’s a way to hide more money tax free. Fuck the feds, fuck tax net negatives, double fuck illegals; tax their entire wealth made here and criminally charge them (rant for another time) but per diem is our way to a tax free future cuz most people could make 50k and 100 daily per diem and live very comfortably

Per diem is for overnight travel, not a replacement for wages. Why would I fuck around with tax gimmickries and get fucked in fines so you can ride away tax free?

The answer is to change the tax code and lower taxes, or provide tax credits and incentives for hiring.

I have one idiot that’s why I brought it up. My brother is moving to Austin for the same job he’s already doing but per diem raises his wage nearly 3x and 2/3’s tax free

Why don't you just read about how per diem actually works, instead of just shouting insults on the internet? It makes you look stupid.

If you offer a higher rate than the federal government’s per diem rates, the excess amount becomes taxable income, which affects both the employee’s taxable income and the taxes paid by the company. Because of this, many companies use the per diem rates set by the government.

Look, you made a stupid post that has no real relevance to this site. It's okay. It happens. You're just throwing a tantrum now because you're wrong and didn't get your dick sucked. But good luck to you fam.

Tantrum? Why cuz I called you a fag? Sure whatever. Per diem at $200 per day is over 70k tax free. You’re just an idiot

You know per diem can be nearly $200 per day right untaxable? Seems rather stupid to dismiss it

You simpleton, you must have never worked for per diem. Oftentimes when a contractor works at a job site, even if it takes years, they get per diem. It’s an incentive to go, workers are usually leaving family and places they lived, paid hundreds per day for food and living expenses. You’re not getting fucked idiot you’re already over taxed; per diem is a financial incentive and if you know anyone that’s worked for IBM, or fill in the blank manufacturer, when you go work often your per diem is more than you made back home; plus your wage
