She's been. 4 alarm covidiot for a year now. I figured since she ran out and got the vaccine and so did her pansy husband, her psychosis might calm down soon. Instead, she invited me to go to the zoo with my kids and hers... I drove an hour to get there... Only to get a call from her, insisting that we go somewhere else because the zoo is "too crowded." I basically told her I'm not telling my 4 year old that we can't go. I even told her we could stay outdoors... That still isn't good enough... Even though she's been vaccinated. She starts being all dramatic about not wanting her kids to get sick. (Her almost 7 year old son has known nothing but virtual school because she refuses to send him, even though their schools are open.) I basically told her she is being ridiculous and I'm not going to stop living life just because she's scared, and hung up on her. That might sound bad but I figured I'd say something really bad if I didn't get off the phone.

I've had stories about her here before and have been told I need better friends. I suppose I do. I'm just not one to toss a 12 to 13 year old friendship easily. I still can't say I'll never see her again but I just can't handle the stupidity anymore. The reality is that these stupid brainwashed tyrants should just seclude themselves from society until they gain some sanity. No one else should be forced to do anything to "protect" them from their delusions.

The past year has really opened my eyes to the people I interact with, as I'm sure it has for many others.

What really opened my eyes was following local leftists on social media for the past few years. You are right though, the past year has brought out the worst in them.

You may not be one to toss away a 13 year old friendship but SHE did.

Current not speaking to my bestieof over 20 years. We are both mixed race women. She lives in London.Briefly she has been getting on my nerves for years as she is always calling the Brits racist.I have told her numerous times to show some gratitude to these people who gave her a fucking passport and if she doesn't like them she should come back home to our shithole African country. Its like she doesn't hear me.Then she calls my mom on 4/11/20 - Mom's bday - and gets into it with my based af Mom about the election. She is the type who worships Big Mike.Mom puts her firmly in her place. But she is the type of libtard who thinks she must win every argument so afew weeks later she 'jokes' that my Mom has dementia.Last straw. Every month she sends me texts and I ignore her.

Some people are simply toxic so we must begin and remain with No Contact for life.

It's usually someone close who we've known for years, and then one day we realize they are fucking nuts and must be removed from our lives immediately.

Alloutwar 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes.What I am really annoyed about is that she literally said to me she doesn't want to discuss politics, but she will make snide remarks about Trump. In other words - like a typical libtard she can't deal with facts and logic but wants to proudly voice her ignorant opinions.

You have to understand, normies and liberals have been living in fear for 1 solid year. It is deep into their subconscious now. She won't wake up and understand. I have idiot normies in my life that are not totally unhinged, but pretty close. That said, I do what I think is right and they are allowed to do what they think is right. I pray for my normies and liberals. That doesn't mean she should screw over your plans. If she thinks like that she should find out in advance. That's reasonable so she doesn't screw you. Like you said, take yourself and your kids anyway and have contingencies when dealing with her in the future.

That’s the biggest problem. Now all of a sudden we are supposed to “be responsible “ and get a experimental drug in order to “protect others”. Fuck you. Stay inside if you are scared.

xidenasshoe 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yeah, having lived in America for 40 years, and having met thousands of people, I find it pretty hard to believe that all of sudden everybody is so empathetic and just really care about other people. What a load of bullshit. It's about control, and nothing else.

4
Dragon518 4 points ago +4 / -0

I swear it seems like those guys are getting paid to push others into getting the vaccine. I never see opposition the other way. It’s annoying. And so hypocritical. My body my choice for killing a living baby. But not my body my choice for a vaccine that doesn’t prevent covid, still need to mask and social distance, and the survival rate if getting the virus is super high. Wtf is wrong with people. Am I the crazy one or something 😂😂😂

In March I thought the pandemic was real. It was evident by the end of April that it was not real. I gave the benefit of the doubt to people. I did however stop talking to all liberals. I can still be friendly, but I'm not associating with anyone that can't figure out the election was stolen.

Same like.

In December when it was still in... Chyna And they were building shitty hospitals and spraying sanitizer and droning people inside and showing clips with hazmat suit mother fuckers I was all like.. Well - here we fucking go.

So when it started in new york I was like shit y'all gg. The. It finally made its way around to good ole texas and my ex army ranger uncle was going full prepped mode and gloving up and what not so I was like alright let's be cautious here.

They had the whole debate for about a week about masks. Trump was like chilllll y'all. Around toilet paper and meat factory shut down time I was like.. alright yeah man a fucking mask probably doesn't do shit but sure. Hand sanitizer yeah right not doing shit but I'll take some anyway. Why not? Seems we are all about to be fucked regardless was my mindset.

Well then everyone started to get the shit. I watched the vectors. I gossiped. It started 3 steps removed. 2 steps removed. All ok. Family got it. All ok. Hospitals near me maintained beds. Got close. But it was all good. Finally my fiance and I got it almost a year later since it started in December and I was like... Well damn this shit sucks but I've had worse. I literally would rather have covid than strep throat.

Now everyone is still reeeeeeeeing about masks and I'm just like... This shit is literally nothing. It has attacked so many already. Everyone I know, everyone in my family and me and my family. Everything was OK👌

It's not that bad. The people that died, and I'm sorry to say it in a way but they had to have died because either they went to the hospital and the hospital either straight up malpracticed them because of their stress. Or the were already so bad off that anything would have put them in their ass. Or they got the double whammy and had it, went to hospital acquired MORE shit from the nasty hospital and also were neglected at the hospital.

I believe the pandemic is a thing. I believe the virus is its own thing and can dick you around. But I believe the deaths are inflated, the cases are inflated. I believe the deaths are because of a failing of our own healthcare system basically having a 'bank run' and collapsing more than the "lethality" of the virus.

Then the question becomes - why does the government keep utilizing and inflating the lethality of the virus to administer control rather that admit the shortcomings of our (not the best) healthcare systems for rural communities. Our dumb fat ghetto nursing assistant that cheat off each other in community college and then bitch about their jobs daily. Our apathetic burnt out doctors who have had to deal with too much medicaid recipients. Etc.

The issue was not the virus.

It was a shortcoming of america, and we all knew it. Our healthcare systems suck. Our healthcare professionals are net held to high standards. Their training is not the rigorous. And too many people basically have to steal medical services so doctors don't give a fuck about actually helping people. Our doctors are like shitty jaded mechanics at this point just diagnosing and churning people through to say they did something for the day. It's ghetto. Ghetto healthcare everywhere.

This is not a call for socialized healthcare this is more of a call for us to improve the standards of our healthcare facilities and professionals. But we can't. Because they push idiots through to meet the demand for nursing and healthcare. Their literally isn't enough to pay the smart 10% that would do a proper job to take care of the 90%. And those 10% go and do something other than healthcare that pays more.

All the while our book learned teachers are trying to essentially take a strike from their jobs.

That's all a mess.

Coronavirus itself is nothing compared to the real fucking dilemma.

Trump was the great messenger.

The virus was the illuminator.

The thinkers among us are seeing what is really going on and the other 75% are going be gnashing their teeth. However I think the idea right now too is to get the thinking ones isolated into their own little bubble so they can be struck into their own little demographic and then into a pseudo caste that exists outside regular society. Which is also a win for the government. The worst is to have the thinkers spreading their thoughts amongst the converted.

Do you want the guy telling everyone the earth revolves around the sun to be in your church, or do you want him ousted and living in the woods - if you are trying to keep your lie alive?

crash7863 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's not a pandemic though. It's more like flu season.

Big tech has been used to silence everyone, so I don't think they're too worried about people getting the word out. I got thoughtfully and carefully explain how all of this works to my co workers and they would just brush it off as right wing conspiracy because that's what CNN says it is.

We have people that are worefully stupid. They are loyal to the state no matter what and will believe what the media tells them no matter what. Not even the Soviets had a state media this good.

Step away from her toxic nature for a while.

Not worth it to have to deal with a Covidiot.

Eventually, she might return to normalcy.

But not for a while. I bet she has lots of supportive like minded Covidiots and now she'll brag about not going to the zoo.

4
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

She really doesn't have lots, but she has her husband who is an even bigger retard about politics and worldviews in general.

SpaceCadet 4 points ago +4 / -0

I’m in the same boat. I have a very good friend (over 20yrs long) with TDS who has been on basic lockdown from the beginning of Covid. She lives states away so we haven’t been able to visit regardless. I’ve come to terms with to just not dwell on it but I’m here if she needs me. I won’t ever cater to her pandemic hysteria. If she came to visit I would welcome her on open arms but in no way alter my life to accommodate for Covid. She can willingly choose to miss out on life, but I won’t.

4
Barbs 4 points ago +4 / -0

I wouldn’t write her off just yet.

We’re the lucky ones. We knew where to find alternate sources of information that would clue us into what was really going on. If you spend any time at all in the media circles where they get their information you’ll completely understand why they are all fucking insane.

I was at my in-laws the other night and my father-in-law was watching CNN. Well, I never watch CNN, other than clips here and there, and holy fucking shit talk about pure lying insanity. I couldn’t even recognize the angles they were telling the news from. Everything was “fear this, fear that, fear Trump supporters.” I almost went insane after only a half hour of it, and they’ve been bombarded for five years.

Maybe just don’t travel that bridge unless you have to for now, but don’t burn it. You may be the one she ends up turning to when she finally has a breakthrough, and you wouldn’t want to miss that opportunity.

I say this as somebody who’s best friend of 35 years hasn’t really spoken to me since the 2016 election, because I voted for President Trump... in California, lol. He still blames me personally for him getting elected. I texted him last June and am still waiting for the reply.

4
TruthyBrat 4 points ago +4 / -0

I blame the media for creating this situation. All they know how to do any more is to sell fear and sensationalism.

It's like the meme with the Amish guy getting asked "Why hasn't the Amish community been hit hard by Covid?"

"We don't have television."

HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

I guarantee you whatever crap she espouses in her house is probably worse than what she'd be getting in their school district. She thinks everyone should be doing school at home, NOT because she's aware of any brainwashing in school, but because she herself is brainwashed enough to think kids are in danger of dying if they go to school.

1
MAGAThor 1 point ago +1 / -0

Your kids are in danger of dying by going to school. Either from the drug addictions they pick up there, the liberal people they mix in with who turn them against you & then ultimately into a lifestyle in the former statement, or because Jeremy was embarrassed the day before & decided to shoot them up. Danger, risk, etc. Not a risk I can take, considering I know about the brainwashing & the bad apples & the touchy teachers & the list is long. We need to make a stand. The liberals are not stupid; We are. Everything that is happening has been very well planned. They look stupid on purpose. They are marxist socialists: We are the stupid ones. We think they are idiots. They have fooled us & unless we wake up, quickly, we will face genocides on a German nazi scale.

1
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm talking about in danger of dying from covid...

1
MAGAThor 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fair. Forget covid. I love my kids enough to protect them from the Other things.

1
MAGAThor 1 point ago +1 / -0

Or rather, I love them enough to recognize that it is not wise for me to risk them to the other things that are there before covid happened. After covid, schools will be worse than ever before. Many bad apples will be emboldened & not want to be in school even more. The institution was already a swamp of liberals. Now it is going to end up a war zone.

1
MAGAThor 1 point ago +1 / -0

I just read this. It is clear this is what is going on because what it says has been happening: https://metallicman.com/laoban4site/what-the-progressive-socialist-liberals-have-in-store-for-conservatives-part-2/

Then colocate it even more with kids and child support.

I had a ham radio friend of mine ask a few weeks ago, after a long and pleasant conversation about some technical and personal topics, if "I still felt the same about President Trump after the events of Jan 6?".

My stomach lurched, as we'd never talked about this. I knew his wife was a loony covidiot, but thought he was reasonably ok.

I said of course I do, President Trump had nothing to do with the events that have been propagandized into some huge deal. He went on to reveal he had voted for Biden, and it got pretty ugly from there, confirming he was lost in TDS and had been for some time.

He emailed me later to sort of apologize. I said we can still talk, but that topic is completely off limits. It demolished what had been a growing friendship, as I just don't know how to relate to someone like this anymore.

My only hope is that Biden's rapid disintegration can redpill him. I'm not going to make any effort to do so.

It's really sad.
