I'm watching Night Court reruns and informational programming; most recently regarding our currency. I want to understand why we're not in the middle of massive hyperinflation yet.
The reason we dont have inflation yet is because people do not think we have inflation. When that changes and people all at once begin to think that their 1$ will only be worth .50 cents in a year that is when everything that is not nailed down will get bought up and the inflation starts. Its a confidence game not just a numbers game.

America has been a house of cards for a long, long time. Can't last forever, won't be pretty.
Fucked up part is, its not just America. Many Europeans do not realize their countries' coffers were raided as well.
So when we crash we're going to take everyone else with us.
