I am a part of a research team studying how people come to their political views and the role of political media in this process. We are recruiting Redditors to participate in a one-hour phone interview on this subject. Because this interview will be recorded, a high-quality phone connection provided by either a landline or a strong wireless signal will be required.

Inclusion will be determined by activity on particular political sub-reddits. Those chosen as research participants will receive a $15 Amazon gift card after successfully completing their interview.

Because the interview will be recorded, the researchers conducting this study will adhere to strict standards of confidentiality. The text of this interview will never be attributed to your name. Instead, a pseudonym will be used to describe you if excerpts from this interview are used in published research. Participation in this study is entirely voluntary, and participants have the right to decline to participate or stop participating at any point.
