Bingo! "Waffling style" is capable of persuading reachables. A "partisan style" is incapable of persuading reachables. Partisanship causes defensive barriers to go up immediately. Rather than being open and able to hear what's said by a partisan, the reachable sees the partisan as a threat and shuts down or goes on attack mode to keep out incoming info lobbed at them by the threatening partisan. I'm no Pool fan for info or insight but he's comfy and non threatening ie able to persuade. I'm glad he's not hard core MAGA. He'd lose his effectiveness and there are alot of great hard core MAGA sites already.
I don't like his waffling style so I don't watch him but if he opens someone's eyes to TRUE MAGA then he's serving a purpose
