You people don't understand why. The bill is poorly worded and she wanted it fixed so it doesn't get struck down by some activist Obama judge. She offered to send it back so they could correct the language but the legislature said no.
For reference Idaho passed a law with a similar language as this bill and they got sued and it's about to get shot down so hard in the 9th Circuit it's not even funny. That's what Noem wanted to prevent.
This is the problem with the right and why we lose: we never stick by our own. We abandon our people even at slight disagreements and get riled up over clickbait headlines without reading into WHY. The left wins because they stick together. Cucks here just want to shit on Noem without learning about why she did this -- it was to avoid a court challenge.
Also, I'm not ready to write her off yet. She's one of the few governors along with Ron DeSantis who refused to cuck on WuFlu lockdowns. She is on our side for sure.
I'm honestly more bothered that the state reps are being useless faggots:
"Fairness in Women’s Sports bill fails in the SD House,” State Rep. Fred Deutsch (R) announced on Monday. “Needed 47 votes to override the governors veto. We got 45. We’ll come back next year and try again.”
Or, here's an idea, you could FIX THE GODDAMN BILL AND RESUBMIT IT!
Republican politicians are the reason I no longer think there are any political solutions. Even in an almost completely red state, they'll take the most-likely-to-fail approach and then when it obviously doesn't work, they go "oh nooo that sucks, well we tried! Donate more!"
Noem's biggest mistake here was assuming that the state congress was also earnestly playing by the rules.

There's nothing wrong with the bill. Noem wants to neuter it.
