no evidence to suggest that it was created in a lab.

Not what redfield said. He said it likely escaped a lab

China released this, wittingly or unwittingly, from a wet market or lab (most likely) studying this very virus right across the street, and they knew of its dangerously high infectiousness 6 weeks in advance, and allowed it to escape the country while it locked down it's own domestic flights.

Does this matter at all if it developed in a wet market or if they were doing experiments and had extremely bad protocols and procedures that allowed it to infect lab personnel, who then transmitted it to the market? Not really. What does matter is China knew about this, let it out, then manipulated the WHO to distort the origins and nature of the virus, until they could cover up all the evidence.
