While many people are not planning on getting the vaccine, I have decided to get it. And while I think vaccine passports are idiotic, I would gladly have a vaccine passport in exchange for not having to wear a mask. I could waive my passport at all the mask police and tell them to buzz off and leave me alone.

You more than likely still have to wear a mask. I had to make a trip to our local VA hospital. I talked to 2 nurses who were vaccinated, They still had to wear the mask.

I think its rational that people who have had the vaccine shouldn't be required to wear masks, and a piece of paper proving that is easy to accommodate.
I agree that the left seems to want this to go on forever. And I don't think they are reasonable.

While I believe there has been a tremendous amount of nonsense and lying about the virus. I don't believe any of the lockdowns or mask should have happened at all. However, I do believe in a small percentage of cases, the virus has been very difficult for people and killed many. I don't believe it has killed 550K in the US, but looking at the world it is had some consequences. Thus, my decision wasn't about the media narrative, but I am not anti-vaxer. So, I am getting vaccinated. And I mostly want the world to return to normal and if the vaccine is the way to get there, I am all for it. Part of normal is not having people at every store in town tell me to pull my mask up over my nose.

vaccine passports will only equal death and crime. There isn't a bright side, there is only a darker side. You need to stop watching TV unless you are only watching it to analyze the lies. Trump may not be that trustworthy on the vaccine either. If you aren't too old, or unhealthy, just get the virus because there's no reason to take this "vaccine".
I agree most people will get the virus and it will be dealt with my the immune system adequately. Which is why I don't think any of the lockdowns should have happened.

With the tone in this thread, I get that some people think the only way is to fight everything up to point civil war. And that may be what happens. I agree we are in serious times, with the left controlling schools, TV Media, Newspapers, Social Media, Colleges and the scary part is if we have lost the justice department, courts, the executive branch. I still have a small hope that we can co-exist. However, I see the destruction of country with the left ideas and policies. I have visions of left physical states and right physical states. I really expect if it gets bad, Texas will succeed as a starting point and then the civil is coming.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Do you see any scenarios where we group together among similar ideologies geographically? Or any forms of chosen segregation such as taking back our ability to educate our kids without critical race theory. Or taxation without supporting undefinable goals such as climate change or systemic racism.
