I understand that the 1st Amendment protects them, but when they're actually actively damaging the country there should be some kind of considerations in place. In the early 20th Century we had "yellow journalism", and the outcome of that was a war with Spain over something that didn't happen and a President being assassinated. It seems they learned their lesson until now because they didn't try to actively incite people until Trump, but most prominently, covid.
Seriously, this "pandemic" is a fucking farce; 99.9% survival rate, average age of death higher than the average life expectancy. Sure, it meets the strict definition of "pandemic" insofar as it's an illness that has spread into multiple countries, but so do a lot of things that aren't a big deal such as influenza. The bottom line is this wouldn't even be a blip if not for the media.
Executive order. Obama did it that way. Biden just did a million of them. Instead he said they were fake news, because they are, but he didn’t fix it. And he never told us this: https://metallicman.com/laoban4site/what-the-progressive-liberals-have-in-store-for-conservatives/
And also, that's the problem with executive orders, they can be undone. That's why it has to be done legislatively.
Had the strongest majority in 40 years until 2020. Could have done it. Didn’t do it. Just ran his mouth about america first & being awesome. Lifelong democrat, entire family, suddenly every one of them is republican. Kinda fishy.
Yeah, you're right. Trump should have undone ALL of Obama's executive orders day one. To be honest I'm starting to think he was a red herring to begin with. The thing is though, I'm considering myself less of a Trump supporter and more of an America Firster. This movement transcends Trump whether or not he's legit.
Amen. You know that from my last response, lifelong democrat thing.
I see america first as “fix ourselves before we can judge others”, though it seems people see it as “we’re #1!” Instead.
