You would think now that they got rid of bad orange man and usurped their kiddly-diddling CCP-controlled dictator into power, who they label, "the most progressive President ever" that they'd be happy and in a good mood.
But nope, they are just as miserable and angry.
They buy into the opinions sold on social media. Then they go outside and talk to people only to realize their opinion is not popular. This embarrassment makes them angry. Deep down nobody wants to be an NPC. When they realize it, they double down and force their opinions down everyone's throat. They use an illusion of support through "likes" and up votes to feel better. Its instant gratification dopamine addiction that's constantly met with humiliation. Over time this makes them crazy.
