Yeah, a common theme is that current theology has been weakened by "feel-good" preaching, religious conglomerates that treat faith like a strip mall restaurant franchise (for example, Elevation Church), and the pastors just not having a good understanding of Christianity in general to apply it to their congregation's daily lives and answer and discuss deeper questions they may ask.
I have heard many stories about how it goes beyond feel good tripe into full blown post modernist nonsense. I first left a "methodist" church because I thought they were getting kooky and somewhat authoritarian in how the congregation was supposed to think. They were also definitely grifting before the word became part of the vernacular. My experience there made me bitter for a long time, but that is a story for another time.
Don't forget most preachers and pastors of today are "biblically educated by theological institutions" aka taught the Bible in a certain way and how to preach/what to preach, hence why they avoid revelations or any sin/repentance.
