No doubt Youtube will scrub this stuff. But entertainment from the time period holds some important lessons.

You will see humor used to bridge racial differences. Some would surely label it offensive today. But these individuals were friends. In the case of Sinatra and Davis, JR., one could easily deduce that Sinatra created massive change in entertainment by refusing to perform if Davis, JR was not provided equal accomodations. Sinatra and Davis paved the way for others.

People change through relationships. Its happened through the ages. People do not change through gov't mandates, coercion, penalties, quotas etc. Those measures actually produce the opposite results.

The south is always demonized by the MSM and WOKE and the Enlightened. But in spite of what you hear and even prior to the Civil Rights era, there millions of very close relationships and friendships between the races in the south. One very common bond between the two was Christianity.

GOVT and its vast reach is not the solution to anything. In fact, it is often the problem.
