I have so many people in my social media with “I am not your model minority”. But let’s break it down. Your parents immigrated here. They set up a decent small business with employees. You went to a top tier college making a very good salary. SOUNDS PRETTY FUCKING MODEL.
I realize the dangers of how the media can magnify something into a bigger more widespread problem (COVID, shark attacks, etc) but this brown on Asian attacks seems to be a legit trend...maybe fed by news coverage?

Yes, I'm just being cautious - I was leery of the stories when they first popped up about how this was "Trump's fault" and then the attackers kept being some shade of brown and in certain politically left areas of the country...
I think they just have uncontrollable violent tendencies. And a lot of us Asians are much smaller in build compared to those thugs. Makes us easy targets really.
I hear guns are a good equalizer. It's why conservative women are usually bigger gun nuts then their counterpart since it's not a hobby for them. It's survival and keeping unwanted weiners outside their body.
Asians are successful. They're a counterargument to the "minorities are oppressed by the white man" myth.
