I don't have a problem with this.

The 10th Amendment doesn't just protect sane policy at the state level, it also allows states to err up to the point of violating Constitutionally protected liberties.

This being the case, WA is a crash test dummy for a massive reduction in the repression of personal liberty. I think it has a much greater chance of disaster than success in the arena of societal good.

If they have erred, they have erred on the side of liberty, and I'm more than good with that.

And if they take the enforcement dividend any put that toward actual rehabilitation absent criminal prosecution, I would love for that to work out in the laboratory of democracy.

Good, government already has too much power. The individual can do as he pleases

Good. I feel the same way about stupid drug laws that I do about stupid gun laws: they just inconvenience the law abiding and do nothing to slow down criminals.

How's that Drug War coming? Are we winning yet?

How many officials from the failed Washington state are in the pay of Mexican drug cartels, Russian mafia members or Chinese tongs? Serious question here as these are the trifecta of criminal organizations that seem to be pulling the strings.
